6-7pm Arrive at Frognolia, pick a room, meet & mingle, drinks and hors d’oeuvres — Please don’t be too early! (Paradoxically room choices are first come first served! *Shrug*)
8pm Light dinner featuring organic produce from Sparta’s Elm St Gardens.
SAT FEB 29
10am Brunch with presentation by renown local storyteller Jeanette Waddell. Learn tips on how to tell a good story from a regional pro!
2pm We’ll meet Marilyn Meyers at the 1850s Glen Mary Plantation for a PRIVATE tour showcasing the INCREDIBLE recently completed ceiling plasterwork. Marilyn will convey the travails and rewards of historic preservation and answer your questions. (Frognolia’s own Grandma Gaissert was born at Glen Mary in the 1800s!)
4-6pm Uncle Miltie will lead the group in making customized “rusty doo-dad” take-home art using materials on premises. All in the new Frognolia Art room.
7pm Dinner featuring organic produce from Sparta’s Elm St Farms
9pm Movie/documentary viewing OR group’s choice of activity
SUN MAR 1
10am Informal breakfast / finish doo-dad art / free time
1pm We’ll take a photo walk through historic district and make our way to local Sparta fairy house for real ghost stories from a human resident!
2pm Light lunch and recap
