There’s a huge audience hungry for your words, but reaching them (and getting paid for it!) now requires a new skill: social media. This six-hour class, incorporating lecture, individual instruction, and instant feedback, will teach you the fundamentals you need to know.

You will learn:

  • Why blogging is now indispensable for writers and media professionals
  • How to build and/or improve your blog
  • How to increase your traffic
  • How to incorporate and easily manage a network of social-media outlets
  • How to use social media for professional and personal growth
  • How to expand your network by sharing useful content

The class is appropriate for complete newbies as well as those with a little to moderate experience. For people who have blogs already, or ideas for one, we will address the concept, format, landing page, and web-reader worthiness of it.

Students should bring laptops or tablets if they have them, a blog or blog idea (optional), a notebook, and something to write with. Click the arrow below to enroll. You will be directed to the Grub Street enrollment site.
